Tarrah Krajnak was born in Lima, Peru 1979. She is currently an artist and educator based in Burlington, VT where she teaches photography at the University of Vermont. Tarrahs artistic practice is driven by a wide range of theoretical concerns including photographys connection to the archive and memory, as well as an interest in the body, gender, and feminist studies. Her work has been exhibited nationally including recent shows at the Center for Photography Woodstock, SF Camerawork, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC. Tarrahs work has been published in Camerawork and most recently in Nueva Luz.
