B Sides
The following images are my contribution to an exhibition entitled B Sides. My friend and fellow photographer Walker Blackwell and I curated this exhibition from the archives of our own “rejected” works, forgotten pictures, and private snapshots. While the process meant allowing one another embarrassing access to external hard-drives and old contact sheets, the pictures deemed un-artistic or non-conceptual are re-contextualized. The final images read like fragments from a photographic diary in which whole pages are missing, but moments of uneasiness, the banal, and vulnerability are woven together to create new meaning
